New York Comic Con 2010 pt 2

These are the few I forgot. Of course you  guys are familiar with Rick Flare. Then I bumped into Superman or Superboy depending how you look at it. Last I saw this cool storm trooper, I think the girl has something to do with Battlestar Galactica.  

New York Comic Con 2010

Conventions are always fun.  First, theres a pic I took with Marvel artists Mike Choi and his colorist Sandra Oback this was  at New York comic con back in 2010-- I hate my expression by the way I was to cheesy lol..  Then there is the pic I took with Madman creator himself Mike Allred, he gave me some great advice.  Third is one my favorite characters Rogue and last is the 80's batmobile.

Original issue 2 cover

This is the original issue 2 cover done a while back. You can tell because I no longer use the shadow comics banner and the final logo looks different. I liked the art so I said why not post it. Also, if you read issue 2 (I'll be posting it early 2012 for the lazy folks lol) you know the cover contains the metamorphasis of a certain character.

Webcomic on the way n other thoughts.

I'm currently working on a web comic thats anime inspired that I will be putting on the blog in a few weeks. It's very good, its six pages and I'm also going to be submitting it to a top named publisher. I flipped my style to show my versitility to the comic book community because I do this, this isn't something 'to do' for me or a hobby, I put my blood sweat in tears into my work. People don't even know "The 5ive footers" is a movement, a phenomenon, not a comic book . Look into the work and not the surface. And I do it because people need that in the comic book--as well as the art community.

Issue 2 preview (For new readers and fans alike)

Man, I know I been sayin' I'm close to being done with the drawing portion of my book for a while now but I really am this time. Next week i'll be lettering and maybe coloring my cover. I think the fans are really going to like this I worked twice as hard to makesure visually it looked how I wanted it to. And I also have to redo the uni5i logo and 5ive footers logo but its all gravy. I'm thinking about having performances at my next booksigning too.

Illustrations

I'm almost done illustrating and I will be complete this week. Got a few photo references to go over and a little inking and wola. Then comes the not so fun part. Lettering and to some extent coloring. I mean coloring is ok but I'm more concerned with the final product. But anyway till next time.
